One advantage that a local business search has is, that if you do a search for a business that you have a use for, you will uncover find exactly what you are looking for. If you live in Portland, Me and you want pizza and you do a search in a business search directory, you will be taken to a page that has information about restaurants that offer the food you pine for. For myself like the idea a business search directory allot better than a search engine for locating a local business. It seems that when I do a search on a major search engine for a local business, the search results are almost always not what I was hopping for.
